Placements24 is seeking a diligent Maintenance Technician specialized in electrical systems for our facility in George, Western Cape. You will perform electrical maintenance to ensure production machinery and infrastructure operate safely and efficiently.

The role requires reading electrical diagrams, using testing equipment, and applying preventative maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize productivity within the Western Cape region.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical focus.
• Technical certification in Electrical Engineering or related field is highly desirable.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics and specs.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, insulation testers).
• Commitment to workplace safety and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all electrical equipment and control systems.

Requirements
