The role covers installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in an industrial setting to keep production lines running safely.

The ideal candidate has a National Diploma or equivalent and a Trade Test, with at least three years of hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Trade Test qualification (Electrician).
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Industrial Electrical Technician.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC motors, VFDs, and control panels.
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and control equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic tools.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Electrical Technician to join their operational team in Paarl . This hands-on role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within an industrial environment. You will ensure the continuous and safe operation of machinery and production lines, responding promptly to electrical faults and performing preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
