Job summary

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to join a luxury safari lodge in the Welgevonden Game Reserve, Limpopo. You will oversee daily maintenance of the lodge's facilities and equipment, ensuring high standards and smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has practical maintenance experience, can troubleshoot issues independently, and is comfortable living in a remote lodge environment with live-in accommodation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance of the lodge and surrounding facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
• Carry out general repairs and preventative maintenance where required.
• Ensure lodge facilities, equipment and infrastructure are maintained to a high standard.
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently.
• Assist with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and general maintenance duties.
• Maintain tools, equipment and maintenance areas in an organised condition.
• Monitor maintenance requirements and report larger issues to management.
• Assist with stock control and ensure essential maintenance supplies are available.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues to minimise disruption to lodge operations.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with relevant standards.
