Job summary

Tiger Brands is proudly Africa's largest listed manufacturer of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). The Maintenance Coordinator will oversee maintenance activities and upkeep for your area, ensuring documentation is up to date and stored.

You will develop maintenance plans to mitigate breakdowns, ensure safety in line with OHS, manage asset care, and maintain maintenance logs. The role also involves budgeting, planning, and ensuring MECP compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of practical experience in maintenance coordination.
• Degree or technical certification required.
• Experience in FMCG industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks associated with machine availability.
• Review, evaluate and prioritize maintenance requests.
• Coordinate rapid response for repairs and service.
• Inspect sites regularly and assess status and needs.
• Implement and follow an effective maintenance program.
• Maintain and report on monthly budget for maintenance.
• Keep records of all maintenance logs for machinery.
• Support development and implementation of maintenance plans.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Control Standards.
• Track maintenance supply inventory.
• Ensure MECP program is implemented in your area.
