Job summary

Profile Personnel in South Africa is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator for a busy manufacturing environment. You will ensure maintenance activities are planned, tracked, and executed to maximise equipment uptime and production efficiency.

The role requires Grade 12, at least 1 year in maintenance coordination or admin, strong communication and organisational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) is required.
• At least 1 year of maintenance coordination or administration experience.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Strong administrative and record-keeping abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and issue preventative maintenance schedules for machinery, tooling, and plant equipment.
• Monitor maintenance activities to ensure repairs and servicing are completed on time.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair logs, and documentation.
• Liaise with the Plant & Facilities Manager regarding maintenance progress and outstanding issues.
• Communicate machine and tooling status with Production and Production Planning teams.
• Coordinate and manage TPM Level 1 & 2 audits.
• Control critical maintenance spare parts inventory and ensure stock accuracy.
• Purchase and expedite maintenance spare parts as required.
• Update maintenance plans and process documentation based on technician feedback.
• Operate and maintain the maintenance management system for accurate planning and reporting.
