Job summary

The Royal Portfolio in Franschhoek seeks a Villas Operations Manager to safeguard and elevate the guest experience across the Terrace Room, Vineyard Suites, and Franschhoek House. This senior role ensures flawless service, conducts final room and property checks, and handles special requests to uphold TRP’s standards.

You will supervise breakfast to dinner service, coordinate with housekeeping, and act as Senior Manager in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring guest satisfaction and staff

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a luxury 5* establishment.
• 3+ years Room Division experience.
• 3+ years F&B experience.
• 3+ years Housekeeping experience.
• 5+ years Hotel Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm and professional welcome to guests.
• Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes.
• Offer personalised concierge services and anticipate guest needs.
• Guide site inspections and escort guests around the property.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with guests.
• Conduct regular room inspections for cleanliness and readiness.
• Coordinate with housekeeping for timely room readiness and turn-down services.
• Communicate guest movements to housekeeping.
• Address any maintenance issues promptly.
• Oversee restaurant service across meals.
• Maintain knowledge of F&B services and industry trends.
• Ensure staff are punctual and dressed to TRP standards.
• Check setup and tables before service.
• Maintain cleanliness and setup of all guest areas.
• Monitor health and safety standards hotel-wide.
• Review daily occupancy, guest feedback, and maintenance reports.
