The Royal Portfolio’s La Residence in Franschhoek is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee daily hotel operations ensuring TRP standards and an exceptional guest experience.

You will manage check-in/out, concierge services, and coordinate with housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance while guiding staff and maintaining health and safety standards. A Diploma in Hospitality and 5 years in luxury hotels are required.

Formación

• 5 years’ experience in a luxury 5* establishment.
• 5 years’ Hotel Management experience.
• 3 years’ Room Division experience.
• 3 years’ Food & Beverage experience.
• 3 years’ Housekeeping experience.
• Diploma in Hospitality is required.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Must live locally and be familiar with Franschhoek restaurants, wine farms and venues.
• Pre-employment polygraph test.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a warm and professional welcome to guests.
• Ensure smooth and efficient check-in and check-out processes.
• Offer personalised concierge services and anticipate guest needs.
• Guide site inspections and escort guests around the property.
• Coordinate with housekeeping for timely room readiness and turn-down services.
• Oversee restaurant operations and F&B service during all periods.
• Maintain knowledge of F&B services and industry trends.
• Ensure staff are punctual and dressed to TRP standards.
• Review and manage daily reports (occupancy, guest feedback, maintenance).
• Act as Senior Manager in the absence of the General Manager.
