Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assistant Spa Manager to join a prestigious luxury hotel in Tokai, Western Cape. The role oversees daily spa operations, delivers exceptional treatments, and supports the Spa Manager to maintain the highest standards of service.

You will lead therapists and front-of-house staff, ensure guest satisfaction, manage bookings, inventory, and health and safety compliance, and step into Spa Manager duties when required.

Qualifications

• Experience in spa leadership roles in luxury settings.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage staff scheduling and operations.
• Knowledge of spa treatments and wellness services.
• Experience with spa reservations and booking systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Spa Manager with day-to-day spa operations.
• Supervise spa therapists and front-of-house staff.
• Ensure exceptional guest service and luxury standards.
• Assist with staff scheduling and daily operations.
• Monitor bookings and ensure efficient spa operation.
• Handle guest enquiries and feedback professionally.
• Assist with reservations and accurate booking procedures.
• Monitor treatment rooms and equipment to high standards.
• Assist with stock control and inventory management.
• Support spa promotions and retail initiatives.
• Drive treatment and retail sales where appropriate.
• Assist with staff training and performance management.
• Ensure spa policies, hygiene and safety standards are maintained.
• Work closely with other hotel departments for a seamless guest experience.
• Step into the Spa Manager's role when required.
