Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional Guest Liaison who can provide luxury, guest-first service during night shifts at a premier hotel in Cape Town. You will manage guest relations, handle overnight enquiries and coordinate with housekeeping, F&B and reception to ensure seamless operations.

This role requires excellent communication, a confident, calm demeanour and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a luxury environment, including weekend and public holiday

Qualifications

• Experience in guest relations, front office or similar role in luxury hotels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and a guest-first mindset.
• Familiarity with hotel reservation or property management systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide warm, personalised service throughout their stay.
• Act as primary contact for guest enquiries, requests and arrangements.
• Assist with check-ins, check-outs and arrivals/departures coordination.
• Build positive guest relationships and anticipate needs for a memorable stay.
• Handle feedback and complaints professionally and resolve issues when possible.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, F&B, reception and management teams.
• Arrange guest activities, reservations and special requests.
• Conduct night relief duties to ensure smooth overnight operations.
• Monitor the property at night to ensure comfort, safety and security.
• Manage overnight enquiries and escalate concerns as needed.
• Complete reports and handover notes for incoming team.
• Maintain high presentation, professionalism and attention to detail.
