Job summary

Dream Hotels & Resorts seeks a Property Custodian for Finfoot Lake Reserve to oversee all aspects of operations, guest experience and financial performance, ensuring premium service. The role drives maintenance, safety, and sustainability while upholding brand standards across departments.

You will lead talent development, manage budgets, and partner with sales and marketing to grow occupancy. A strategic, hands-on leader with hospitality expertise is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a strong plus.
• FGASA Level 1 Field Guide is advantageous.
• Minimum of five years' senior leadership experience in a luxury lodge/hotel.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen; proven budgeting experience.
• Knowledge of revenue management and online travel distribution.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic operational leadership across all departments.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day lodge operations and high service standards.
• Develop and manage the annual operating budget; monitor performance against budget.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to grow occupancy and revenue.
• Lead, coach and develop staff; ensure engagement and succession planning.
• Ensure brand standards, licenses, audits, safety and environmental compliance.
• Champion environmental stewardship and community engagement.
• Collaborate with Head Office and other Dream Hotels & Resorts properties.
