Job summary

HotelJobs is seeking an Assistant Lodge Manager to support the Lodge Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences at a luxury lodge. The role requires a hands-on leader capable of overseeing multiple departments, driving operational efficiency and maintaining 5-star standards throughout all lodge operations.

You will supervise departments, mentor staff, and ensure staff adhere to grooming, service expectations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years' management or supervisory experience in luxury lodge/hotel.
• Experience across Front Office, F&B, Guest Relations, or Lodge Operations.
• Experience managing multiple departments.
• Experience with hospitality PMS such as NightsBridge, Semper, Opera or Protel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overall lodge operations and ensure 5-star service standards.
• Lead and motivate departments; conduct staff training and development.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure seamless guest service.
• Act as Duty Manager when required and handle guest issues promptly.
• Oversee reservations, front office check-in/out, and VIP arrivals.
• Monitor health, safety, compliance, and housekeeping standards.
• Assist with budgeting, cost control, and operational reporting.
• Support conservation, guest activities, and guest engagement initiatives.
