Responsibilities

• Oversee daily lodge operations with highest service and hospitality standards.
• Lead, motivate and manage the lodge team to maintain a professional environment.
• Ensure guest satisfaction from arrival to departure, addressing needs and concerns.
• Manage budgets, control costs and monitor expenditure for financial performance.
• Oversee stock control, procurement and inventory management.
• Maintain housekeeping, F&B, maintenance and lodge presentation to luxury standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen, FOH, housekeeping and guiding teams for seamless operations.

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lodge Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a luxury game reserve in Welgevonden, Limpopo. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional with a strong background in luxury safari lodge management, exceptional leadership abilities and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the lodge, ensuring the highest standards of service and hospitality are consistently maintained.
• Lead, motivate and manage the lodge team, fostering a positive and professional working environment.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure, attending to guest needs and resolving any concerns efficiently.
• Manage operational budgets, control costs and monitor expenditure to support the financial performance of the lodge.
• Oversee stock control, procurement and inventory management.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, food and beverage service, maintenance and overall lodge presentation.
• Work closely with the kitchen, front-of-house, housekeeping and guiding teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor staff performance, provide ongoing training and ensure compliance with company policies and hospitality standards.
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to throughout the property.
• Assist with the development and implementation of operational procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery.

Key Requirements
