Job summary

Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment & Training is assisting a prestigious luxury hotel in Cape Town to recruit an experienced Executive Housekeeper. You will report to the Director of Housekeeping and lead the department to uphold exceptional cleanliness, presentation and guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Executive Housekeeper or senior housekeeping management role.
• Experience in a luxury hotel or high-standard hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Thorough understanding of housekeeping operations, cleanliness standards and stock control.
• Excellent attention to detail and guest service mindset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff across multiple roles.
• Prepare and distribute daily room assignments and allocate work sections.
• Oversee operations to meet luxury standards in rooms and public areas.
• Brief team on arrivals, special requests and room requirements.
• Conduct daily departmental briefings and communicate priorities.
• Investigate guest concerns and follow up on service issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation standards.
• Coordinate maintenance with Technical Services.
• Monitor stock levels of linen and cleaning materials.
• Develop and improve departmental systems for higher efficiency.
• Support and coach the housekeeping team to deliver excellent service.
