HotelJobs in Kameeldrift is seeking an experienced Assistant Executive Housekeeper to supervise all housekeeping staff, oversee daily operations and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness for guest rooms, suites, public areas and the laundry. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will lead a team to deliver personalized luxury service.

The role covers staff management, training, rosters, inspections and collaboration with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure seamless guest

Qualifications

• Matric and hospitality qualification required.
• At least 2–3 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and safety regulations.
• Experience in staff supervision, inventory control, and budget awareness.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all housekeeping staff, guest rooms, suites, laundry area and ensure work is completed efficiently.
• Train, mentor and develop housekeeping team members in luxury service standards, etiquette, and attention to detail.
• Schedule and prepare duty rosters based on occupancy forecasts and service expectations; maintain time records.
• Conduct regular staff appraisals and provide performance feedback; manage disciplinary actions when needed.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance for special requests and facility issues; oversee audits and quality inspections.
• Lead daily briefings and ensure VIP rooms and personalized guest touches are delivered.
