Job summary

DSV is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative for Port Elizabeth to drive freight forwarding growth in air, ocean, and ground logistics. You will identify new clients, present tailored solutions, and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.

You will maintain strong relationships, conduct regular reviews, pursue upselling opportunities, and contribute to achieving monthly and yearly gross profit targets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years internal/external sales experience in Freight Forwarding (air & sea preferred) or Logistics / Supply Chain Industry.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and secure new clients in line with company growth strategy
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and solution proposals
• Generate and follow up on qualified leads
• Maintain and grow existing customer relationships
• Conduct regular customer reviews
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
• Achieve monthly and annual gross profit and volume targets
• Maintain updated pipeline and activity tracking in CRM
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity
