Job summary

CF & I Consulting in Cape Town seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in logistics and supply chain services. You will identify opportunities, build strategic client relationships and secure new business across warehousing, freight forwarding and integrated solutions.

You will lead commercial proposals, manage tenders and pricing, and collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions for key accounts.

Qualifications

7–10 years’ relevant experience in business development or sales within logistics, supply chain or related industry.
Proven track record of winning new business and achieving sales targets.
Established relationships within logistics, warehousing, freight forwarding or supply chain sectors.
Experience in complex solution selling, tender management and commercial negotiations.
Strong commercial acumen, presentation skills and the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
A self-driven approach with the ability to work independently and deliver measurable results.

Responsibilities

Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth.
Identify, develop and convert new commercial opportunities.
Build relationships with senior decision-makers and strategic clients.
Develop tailored logistics and supply chain solutions in collaboration with internal teams.
Lead commercial proposals, tenders, pricing and contract negotiations.
Maintain a strong sales pipeline and deliver against agreed targets.
Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and grow market share.
