Placements24 in East London is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Clerk to manage dispatch and shipping operations. You will prepare bills of lading, packing lists, and waybills, coordinate pickups, verify outbound orders, and label packages according to standards.

You will maintain accurate shipment records, communicate with production and sales, assist with loading, monitor performance, and respond to inquiries.

Qualificações

• Previous experience as a logistics clerk, shipping clerk, or in a related administrative role preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel with strong documentation skills.
• Experience with shipping procedures and coordination with carriers is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare shipping documents (bills of lading, waybills, packing lists).
• Coordinate with transportation providers for pickups and deliveries.
• Verify outbound orders are accurate before dispatch.
• Ensure shipments are labeled and packaged to requirements.
• Maintain records of dispatched shipments.
• Communicate shipment status with internal teams.
• Assist with loading of trucks/containers as needed.
• Monitor shipping performance against targets and address issues.
• Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipping status.
