Placements24 is seeking a reliable Warehouse Dispatch Clerk to join our operations team in Vereeniging, Gauteng. You will verify outgoing orders against pick slips, coordinate with warehouse staff, and liaise with transport providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.

In this role you will prepare dispatch documentation, maintain accurate records in the warehouse management system, inspect shipments, and support general warehouse duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse dispatch or shipping role is essential.
• Proficiency in verifying order details and preparing dispatch documentation.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Verify outgoing orders against pick slips and shipping manifests for accuracy.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely picking and packing of orders.
• Liaise with transport providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Prepare and process all necessary dispatch documentation, including waybills and invoices.
• Ensure accurate recording of all dispatched goods in the warehouse management system.
• Inspect outgoing shipments for damage and ensure proper packaging.
• Communicate any discrepancies or delays to relevant parties, including management and customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized dispatch area.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
