Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Logistics Analyst to join its Durban operations team. The role focuses on analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing recommendations to streamline the supply chain, reduce costs, and improve delivery performance. On-site position requiring attention to detail in a busy logistics environment.

You will collect and interpret logistics data, develop KPIs, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement improvements for operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related analytical field.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and Excel, with BI experience.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI and data visualization.
• Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholder presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret logistics data related to transportation costs, delivery times, and inventory levels.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track KPIs for logistics operations.
• Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks within the supply chain and propose solutions for improvement.
• Assist in forecasting logistics needs and planning for future capacity requirements.
• Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging technologies to recommend enhancements.
• Collaborate with operations managers and other stakeholders to implement process improvements.
