Placements24 is seeking a sharp and analytical Logistics and Supply Chain Analyst to join our Pretoria team. The role focuses on optimizing the flow of goods, analyzing data to identify inefficiencies, and developing strategies to improve operational performance.

The ideal candidate will forecast demand, manage inventory, streamline transportation processes, and present KPI reports. Proficiency with Excel and SQL, plus BI tools like Tableau or Power BI, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or similar analytical role.
• Proficient in Excel, SQL, and BI tools such as Tableau/Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Develop and maintain models for demand forecasting, inventory planning, and capacity utilization.
• Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to implement process improvements and track their impact.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on KPIs for supply chain and logistics operations.
• Support the procurement and transportation teams by providing data-driven recommendations.
