Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to join the Centurion-based operations team. You will analyze transportation data, develop KPI reports, and recommend cost-saving strategies to improve logistics efficiency and service levels.

Collaborate across departments to support strategic decisions, monitor inventory movements, and help implement new processes and systems for a more responsive supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Logistics Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, or BI platforms.
• Familiarity with supply chain principles and transportation management systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze transportation data to identify trends, costs, and areas for operational improvement.
• Develop and maintain reports on logistics performance, including KPIs.
• Research and recommend cost-saving strategies for shipping, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Collaborate with logistics providers to ensure SLAs are met.
