Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator for our FMCG operations in Mahikeng. This hybrid role involves coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, working with suppliers and transport partners, and optimizing delivery schedules while maintaining accurate inventory records.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of logistics coordination experience, strong planning and communication skills, and proficiency in logistics software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably FMCG.
• Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments of FMCG products.
• Manage relationships with transportation providers, ensuring timely deliveries and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping of stock movements.
• Resolve logistical issues and disruptions promptly to minimize delays.
