About the Role

Our client, a dynamic and growing player in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking an organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize the flow of goods in and out of their Benoni, Gauteng operations. This role is crucial for ensuring timely delivery, efficient warehousing, and cost-effective transportation of products. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of logistics processes, excellent coordination skills, and a keen eye for detail to manage complex supply chains. You will play a key part in maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction for our client's extensive product range within the Benoni area and across Gauteng.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Plan and schedule transportation routes and loads to optimize delivery times and minimize costs.
• Track shipments and proactively address any delays or issues to ensure on-time delivery.
• Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth execution of logistics activities.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of logistics principles and best practices.
