The role focuses on coordinating inbound/outbound shipments, liaising with suppliers and freight forwarders, and ensuring efficient supply chain administration with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with at least 2 years in a similar role.
• Prefer qualification in International Freight Management or SCM.
• Experience with international import supply chain management.
• Knowledge of domestic warehousing and courier operations.
• Strong administrative and numerical skills.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen.
• English written and spoken proficiency.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office 365 skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound local and international shipments.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, couriers, customs agents and warehouse partners.
• Track shipments, customs clearance and delivery schedules; resolve delays.
• Manage inventory by receiving, inspecting, labeling and stock capture on ERP.
• Conduct stock inspections and coordinate quality issues with suppliers.
• Oversee stock control, monthly stock takes and stores organization.
• Prepare picking slips, packing docs, waybills, support domestic order distribution.
• Maintain supply chain records, reports and logistics documentation.
• Analyze freight costs and monitor shipping performance for cost savings.
• Coordinate supplier performance and monitor SLAs; support negotiations.
• Assist with procurement planning, stores consumables and shipping schedules.
• Build relationships with suppliers and logistics partners; ensure professional communication.
• Support continuous improvement and cross-functional communication.
