About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Logistics and Supply Chain Manager to lead operations in Pretoria . This vital role requires a leader capable of managing end-to-end supply chain processes, from procurement and inventory management to distribution and final delivery. You will be responsible for optimizing all logistical functions, fostering strong relationships with suppliers and carriers, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. This hybrid position allows for engagement with the team on-site while providing flexibility for focused, remote work, contributing to a dynamic and efficient operational framework within a key hub.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to meet business objectives and customer demands.
• Oversee daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management, ensuring seamless execution.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
• Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
• Analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs, trade, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (7+ years) in logistics and supply chain management , with a proven track record of success.
• Strong understanding of global logistics, transportation modes, and warehousing best practices.
