Staff Solutions is seeking an experienced Lodge Manager to oversee daily operations at a five-star lodge in Makhanda. The role focuses on maintaining exceptional guest service, supervising staff, and ensuring standards across all departments.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in a five-star lodge environment, with strong leadership, communication skills, and a valid driver’s licence. This on-site position requires a proactive manager to drive service excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a five-star lodge or hotel in a leadership role.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Monitor guest satisfaction and manage special requests.
• Support Lodge Manager in daily lodge operations.
• Maintain service standards across departments.
• Supervise lodge operations in the absence of the Lodge Manager.
• Coordinate departmental teams to deliver seamless guest service.
• Conduct targeted training with the Lodge Manager.
• Oversee cash handling, stock control, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure maintenance of lodge equipment and facilities.
• Develop and uphold lodge policies, procedures and standards.
