Job summary

Pick n Pay is seeking a supervisor to manage goods receiving and related operations on site. The role requires 1-2 years of supervisor experience, Matric/NQF4, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions.

Strong communication skills and business acumen are valued for effective teamwork with staff, management, customers and suppliers. You will ensure accurate goods handling, maintain cold chain where needed, uphold hygiene and safety standards, and complete

• 1-2 years receiving supervisor experience required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and return goods systematically and accurately according to laid down company policies and procedures.
• Conduct quality checks.
• Ensure that the cold chain is maintained.
• Ensure that hygiene, housekeeping and safe working standards are maintained.
• Ensure that security procedures are adhered to.
• Assist with relieve security procedures at the back door.
• Prevent wastage/shrinkage/damages.
• Complete all relevant administration/documentation.
• Operate equipment according to laid down standards.
• Communicate effectively with employees, management, customers and suppliers.
