Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking an LLM Engineer to own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This builder role focuses on production systems atop LLMs, not model training. You will work with leadership to translate a documented roadmap into shipped automation workflows and integrations.

We prioritize hands-on builders experienced with LangChain, LangGraph, and OpenAI/Anthropic APIs. Remote work is available for LATAM and South Africa, with full-time commitment.

Qualificações

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.

Responsabilidades

• Build agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrate with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs including tool use and function calling.
• Develop internal tools to reduce manual hours across design and development workflows.
• Create automation pipelines linking WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and CMS.
• Implement MCP server integrations as part of the AI stack.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is building an AI automation layer into every part of how we work. As LLM Engineer at Blacksmith, you own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This is a builder role, not a research role. You will not be training models, you will be building production systems on top of them.

You work directly with engineering and delivery leadership to take a documented roadmap of automation workflows and turn them into shipped, working systems. This role is for someone who has already built things with LLMs and can show it.

What You Will Build

• Agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrations with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs including tool use and function calling.
