Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking an LLM Engineer to own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This is a builder role, not a research role; you will not train models, you will build production systems on top of them.

You will implement agentic workflows with LangChain and LangGraph, integrate with OpenAI and Anthropic APIs, and create internal tools to reduce manual hours across our design and development processes. The position is remote and supports a US-based team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming). Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.

Responsibilities
