Blacksmith Agency is hiring an LLM Engineer to own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This is a builder role building production systems on top of LLMs, not a research post.

You’ll work with engineering leadership to convert a documented roadmap into shipped automation workflows. You should have 2+ years of production software experience with Python or Node.js and hands-on work with LangChain, LangGraph, and related frameworks, plus API integrations with OpenAI or Anthropic.

Qualificações

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.

Responsabilidades

• Build agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalents.
• Integrate with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs including tool use and function calling.
• Develop internal tools to reduce manual hours across design and dev production.
• Create automation pipelines linking WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and CMS.
• Implement MCP server integrations as part of the AI stack.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is building an AI automation layer into every part of how we work. As LLM Engineer at Blacksmith, you own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This is a builder role, not a research role. You will not be training models, you will be building production systems on top of them.

You work directly with engineering and delivery leadership to take a documented roadmap of automation workflows and turn them into shipped, working systems. This role is for someone who has already built things with LLMs and can show it.
