Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking an LLM Engineer to own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This builder role focuses on production systems on top of language models, not model training.

You will work with LangChain, LangGraph, and other agent frameworks, integrating with OpenAI or Anthropic APIs, and building tools that cut manual hours across design and development workflows. Remote role for LATAM and SA.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.

Responsabilités

• Own and ship the internal automation roadmap.
• Build production systems on top of LLMs, not training models.
• Develop agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.
• Perform API integrations with OpenAI/Anthropic including tool use and function calling.
• Create internal tools to reduce manual hours across design and development processes.
