Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is looking for an LLM Engineer to own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This builder role focuses on production systems, not model training, and involves integrating with OpenAI/Anthropic APIs and various tools.

You will create agentic workflows, connect platforms like WordPress and Figma, and contribute to a scalable AI stack for our remote team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.

Responsibilities

Blacksmith Agency is building an AI automation layer into every part of how we work. As LLM Engineer at Blacksmith, you own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This is a builder role, not a research role. You will not be training models, you will be building production systems on top of them.
