Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is building an AI automation layer into every part of how we work. As LLM Engineer at Blacksmith, you own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This is a builder role, not a research role.

You will not be training models, you will be building production systems on top of them. You will work on agentic workflows with LangChain, LangGraph, and integrate with OpenAI and Anthropic APIs, focusing on tool use and function calling.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI or AutoGen.
• Proven API integration with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use).

Responsibilities

• Build agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalents.
• Integrate with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs including tool use and function calling.
• Develop internal tools to reduce manual hours across design and development.
• Create automation pipelines connecting WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and internal CMS.
• Handle MCP server integrations as part of the AI stack.
