Job summary

Discovery Limited in Sandton, Johannesburg, seeks a Life Telesales Consultant to drive telesales activity within the Discovery Connect Sales contact centre. The role involves handling member communications, responding to inquiries by phone and email, and coordinating personal admin tasks to support sales initiatives.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of sales experience, preferably outbound telesales, and Life product knowledge.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of sales experience, preferably outbound telesales.
• Minimum 1 year Life product knowledge; Discovery Life knowledge is a plus.
• Competent PC literacy including email, Word and Excel.
• Tertiary qualification is advantageous.
• RE5 and NQF5 qualifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify sales opportunities with members and prospects.
• Answer inbound calls promptly and perform required outbound calls.
• Coordinate own administration and follow up on tasks.
• Attend to general admin and ensure quality outputs.
• Adhere to service level agreements and targets.
