Qualifications

• Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in IT/IS/digital transformation or IT governance.
• Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in a cognate business field with substantial IT content or research in digital transformation/IT governance.
• Lecturing/tutoring experience in IT governance, digital transformation, information systems management, IT strategy, technology management or related areas.
• Experience with governance, risk, compliance or service-management frameworks is advantageous.
• 2 to 3 years Lecturing or Formal Tutoring.
• 1 to 3 years industry-specific experience in area of specialisation is advantageous.
• Copy of academic transcript.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and engage students based on module-specific requirements.
• Manage resources including academic materials and consulting with the Information Centre.
• Update learning management system and provide feedback to students.
• Engage and prepare students for assessments and develop assessments as advised.
• Monitor student engagement and assessment submission with escalation.
• Attend academic meetings across faculties.
• Reflect on, review, and analyse student module results.
• Support monitoring of at-risk students in assigned modules.
• Complete required academic development interventions per cycle.
