Rosebank College, part of The IIE, seeks an academic to teach IT modules, track assessments, and support student success across campuses in South Africa. The role involves updating the LMS, engaging with students, and contributing to program development with the Central Academic Team.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in IT/IS or related fields, teaching experience, and knowledge of digital transformation and IT governance. Working hours are weekday daytime classes; salary is market related.

Competenze

• Lecturing/tutoring experience in IT governance, digital transformation or related areas.
• Experience with higher education teaching and industry exposure is advantageous.
• Proven ability to track assessments and support student results.

Mansioni

• Deliver lectures and engage students based on module requirements.
• Manage resources and consult with the information centre.
• Update learning management system and provide student feedback.
• Prepare and assess students; identify at-risk students and develop assessments.
• Monitor engagement and submissions with escalation as needed.
• Attend academic meetings and contribute to program development.
• Analyse module results and support improvement actions.
• Complete required academic development interventions yearly.
