Boland College invites applications for a Lecturer in Business Studies – Marketing and Communication (PL1). The role focuses on delivering Communication and Marketing subjects across N4–N6 levels, with facilitation in OC driven programmes and workplace exposure requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a matric, a relevant three-year qualification, SACE registration, and strong ICT/educational technology skills to support blended learning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Matric and a relevant recognized three-year qualification.
• Qualifications in education and training.
• Qualified to lecture subjects in the relevant programme.
• Experience in blended learning with educational technology.
• Valid SACE registration and certificate.
• Computer literate.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Lecture the specified subjects (Communication N5–N6; Marketing Communication N6; Communication & Human Relations N6; Management Communication N4).
• Provide facilitation in Occupational Certificate driven programmes.
• Participate in Workplace exposure relevant to the programmes.

LECTURER: BUSINESS STUDIES – MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION (PL1)

Requirements

• Matric and at least a relevant recognized three-year qualification (REQV13)
• Qualifications in education and training
• Qualified to lecture subjects in the relevant programme
• Experience in Blended learning, i.e. innovative teaching practices with the use of educational technology
• Valid SACE registration and certificate
• Computer Literate
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• A valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be responsible for lecturing the following subjects and/or any other subjects if required
• Communication N5 – N6
• Marketing Communication N6
• Communication & Human Relations N6
• Management Communication N4
• Facilitation is also required in Occupational Certificate driven Programmes
• WPBL: Participate in Workplace exposure relevant to the Programmes

Recommendations

• Certified as an Assessor
• Certified as a Moderator
• Knowledge of QCTO qualifications or QCTO experience
• TVET sector teaching experience
• Workplace/ Industry experience
