Job summary

Boland College invites applications for a Lecturer: Business Studies – Human Resource Management (PL1) at Worcester campus. The role is fixed term for 12 months with a 35-hour week and starts 01 January 2027.

Remuneration is R23 443.25 – R30 504.25 per month plus 37% in lieu of benefits. Requirements include a Matric plus a relevant three-year qualification (REQV13), an education and training qualification, SACE registration, and proven MS Office skills.

Requirements

• Matric and at least a relevant recognized three-year qualification (REQV13)
• Qualification in education and training
• Qualified to lecture subjects in the relevant programme
• Experience in Blended learning, i.e. innovative teaching practices with the use of educational technology
• Valid SACE registration and certificate
• Proven computer training in MS Office
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• A valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be responsible for lecturing in the following subjects and/or any other subjects as required:
  • Personnel Training N5-N6
  • Personnel Management N5
  • Medical Practice N5-N6
• Facilitation is also required in Occupational Certificate-driven programmes
• WPBL: Participate in Workplace exposure relevant to the programmes

Recommendations

• Certified as an Assessor
• Certified as a Moderator
• Knowledge of QCTO qualifications or QCTO experience
• TVET sector teaching experience
• Workplace/ Industry experience
