Boland College in Paarl is seeking a Lecturer in Business Studies – Human Resource Management (PL1) to start 01 January 2027. The role focuses on Labour Relations N6 and facilitating Occupational Certificate-driven programmes, with workplace exposure under WPBL.

The ideal candidate has Matric plus a relevant three-year qualification, an education and training qualification, SACE registration, and proven experience with educational technology and blended learning.

LECTURER: BUSINESS STUDIES – HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (PL1)

Requirements

• Matric and at least a relevant recognized three-year qualification (REQV13)
• Qualification in education and training
• Qualified to lecture subjects in the relevant programme
• Experience in Blended learning, i.e. innovative teaching practices with the use of educational technology
• Valid SACE registration and certificate
• Proven computer training in MS Office
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• A valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be responsible for lecturing the following subjects and/or any other subjects if required
• Labour Relations N6
• Facilitation is also required in Occupational Certificate-driven programmes
• WPBL: Participate in Workplace exposure relevant to the Programmes

Recommendations

• Certified as an Assessor
• Certified as a Moderator
• Knowledge of QCTO qualifications or QCTO experience
• TVET sector teaching experience
• Workplace/ Industry experience
