Job summary

The Raspberry Pi Foundation is seeking an educator and curriculum designer to develop and deliver learning experiences, content, resources, and training for its educational programmes in South Africa.

You will design and support teacher professional development, ensure inclusion and accessibility, work with colleagues and partners, and translate evidence into practice to improve teaching and learning in formal and non-formal settings.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of computing with a relevant qualification
• Teaching qualification or significant teaching experience in computing
• Experience designing and developing high quality learning experiences, content and resources in schools (South Africa)
• Ability to design synchronous and asynchronous training for adult educators

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver learning experiences, content, resources, and training for the Foundation's educational programmes and products
• Design and support training and ongoing professional development for teachers and subject advisors, equipping them to use our resources effectively
• Ensure that our learning experiences and resources are informed by evidence and reflect the Foundation's agreed approaches to teaching and learning
• Follow the Foundation's quality assurance processes, including agreed approaches to inclusion and accessibility
• Represent the Raspberry Pi Foundation to external audiences and stakeholders as required
• Contribute to the Foundation's thought leadership through articles and blogs, public speaking, research, and evaluation
