Job summary

The Raspberry Pi Foundation is seeking a Learning Manager for South Africa, remote with priority to Eastern Cape and Gauteng. You will develop and deliver learning experiences, resources and educator training for our computing education programs.

You will collaborate with local educators and global teams, travel when needed, and ensure resources reflect evidence-informed teaching. We value candidates with computing expertise, teaching qualification or equivalent experience, and successful design

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of computing with a related qualification
• Teaching qualification or significant teaching experience in computing
• Experience designing high quality learning experiences and resources for schools in South Africa

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver learning experiences, content, resources, and training for the Foundation's educational programmes and products.
• Design and support training and ongoing professional development for teachers and subject advisors.
• Ensure learning experiences are informed by evidence and reflect teaching approaches used by the Foundation.
• Follow quality assurance processes including inclusion and accessibility.
• Contribute to development and improvement of teaching and learning approaches.
• Keep up to date with research and best practice; identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Foundation colleagues and external partners.
• Use feedback and data to identify improvements.
• Represent the Raspberry Pi Foundation to external audiences.
• Contribute to thought leadership through articles, blogs, public speaking, research and evaluation.
