Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Process Optimization Specialist to join the operations team in Paarl. The role focuses on analyzing and improving the efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness of industrial processes, applying Lean and Six Sigma to core operations.

You will develop practical solutions, document SOPs, train production teams, monitor performance with key metrics, and drive sustained improvements on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial process optimization or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency in process mapping tools and data analysis techniques.

Responsabilités

• Conduct detailed analysis of existing industrial processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement process optimization strategies using Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant methodologies.
• Design and document new or modified processes, creating standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with production teams to implement process changes and provide training.
• Monitor process performance, collect data, and report on key metrics and improvements.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement root cause solutions.
