Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major urban development and infrastructure initiatives in Vereeniging, Gauteng. You will drive planning, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement across residential, commercial, and public sectors to deliver sustainable urban environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree or PMP/PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience managing large-scale property development and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale urban development and infrastructure projects.
• Manage all project phases, including feasibility studies, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
• Oversee and coordinate the work of consultants, contractors, and service providers.
• Engage and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including government authorities, community groups, and private developers.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols in Gauteng.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans.
• Monitor project performance, quality, and progress, providing regular reports to senior management.
• Facilitate effective communication across project teams and stakeholders.
• Drive sustainable development practices and innovative urban planning solutions.
