Goldman Tech Resourcing is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead complex structural and civil projects from feasibility to construction. This role requires strong technical leadership, client liaison, and team mentoring across multidisciplinary groups.

You will develop proposals, review calculations, and support procurement while ensuring safety and quality. A pro-active, collaborative mindset is essential for success in this senior position.

Qualifications

• BSc or BEng in Civil Engineering.
• ECSA Pr. Eng registration.
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience, incl. 2 years post-registration.
• Extensive structural and civil project experience.
• Experience with commercial developments (offices, retail, hotels, healthcare).
• Experience with bridges or water-retaining structures advantageous.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Prokon and MS Office.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
• Strong commitment to safety performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, execution plans, fee proposals and cost estimates.
• Conduct feasibility studies, option analyses and technical due diligence.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports and specifications.
• Support procurement through tender documentation, scopes of work, bid evaluations and recommendations.
• Coordinate structural design resources to achieve project quality and programme requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, municipalities and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development and strategic planning initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship and quality oversight to junior staff.
