Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Lead Solar Project Developer to spearhead growth of a solar energy portfolio in a fully remote role. You will originate, evaluate, and secure solar projects from inception to financial close, working with remote teams across markets.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Engineering/Business/Finance (Master's preferred), 7+ years in solar development, and expertise in PPAs, project finance, and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Originate and develop new solar power projects from site identification through to financial close.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Lead Solar Project Developer to spearhead the growth of their solar energy portfolio. This is a fully remote position that requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in identifying, evaluating, and securing solar energy projects. You will be instrumental in driving the company's expansion into new markets, managing the entire project development lifecycle from origination to financial close. Working collaboratively with remote teams, you will leverage your expertise to navigate complex regulatory environments and build strong relationships with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Originate and develop new solar power projects from site identification through to financial close.
