The role requires 8+ years in residential construction, a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, strong leadership, safety compliance, and proficiency with MS Project or Procore.

About the Role

They are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Construction Project Manager to lead significant projects in the Vereeniging, Gauteng area. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the construction process, from pre-construction planning through to project completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage site operations, coordinate with subcontractors, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure strict adherence to safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex residential construction projects and a strong understanding of the building lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in construction project management, with a strong portfolio of completed large-scale residential developments.
• Demonstrated success in managing projects from inception to completion, meeting budget and timeline targets.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and the full MS Office Suite.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective stakeholder management.
• Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings and specifications.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Vereeniging region.
• Experience with hybrid work arrangements and effective collaboration across different teams.
