Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead residential development projects in Stellenbosch. You will plan, execute, and close projects, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and budget control.

The role requires coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities to drive handovers. The ideal candidate holds a degree in construction or a related field with proven PM experience in residential construction; proficiency in MS Project or Primavera is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Significant experience as a Project Manager in the residential construction sector.
• Demonstrated success in managing projects from inception to completion.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Oversee all phases of residential construction, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
• Manage relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations, permits, and safety standards.
• Conduct regular project meetings and provide detailed progress reports to stakeholders.
