Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to oversee renewable energy projects from site selection through commissioning. The role combines remote planning with essential on-site engagement and stakeholder meetings to advance sustainable energy solutions.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards. A PMP and 7+ years in energy projects are highly desirable.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
PMP certification preferred.
Minimum 7 years in project management, with renewable energy focus.
Experience in hybrid work setup with on-site engagement.
Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, project finance, and regulations.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end lifecycle of renewable energy projects, including feasibility studies, permitting, design, and construction.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management frameworks.
Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure milestones are met.
Conduct regular site visits and progress assessments to monitor construction activities and quality standards.
Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and community representatives, managing expectations.
Ensure adherence to environmental regulations, safety protocols, and project specifications.
