Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a senior or leadership pastry role, preferably in fine dining.
• Exceptional pastry techniques, baking principles and flavor profiles.
• Creative ability to design visually appealing and delicious desserts.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of hygiene, food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prepare, and present a wide variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods.
• Create innovative and seasonal dessert menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
• Manage daily operations of the pastry section, including production scheduling and workflow.
• Oversee and train junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring recipes and techniques are followed.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and sanitation in the pastry kitchen.
• Control inventory, stock levels, and order ingredients to minimize waste and control costs.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless dessert service.
