Job summary

Guardrisk is seeking an experienced pricing actuary to review and sign off on new and changing life insurance products, and to lead technical pricing initiatives. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to structure deals and optimize business outcomes.

The role involves developing robust pricing models, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mentoring the Pricing team. A strong background in life insurance pricing and actuarial leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
• Qualified Actuary
• Experience in life insurance pricing
• Experience with managing a team would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Support pricing strategies for new and existing group and individual life insurance products.
• Review and refine pricing models to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
• Develop robust technical pricing models.
• Ensure regulatory and professional compliance by reviewing new products against relevant guidelines.
• Contribute to the structuring and negotiation of new deals to optimize business outcomes.
• Lead and mentor the Pricing team, providing guidance to junior actuarial analysts.
• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to communicate complex technical insights effectively.
